Lana - Wildlife and Landscape Art Photographer.

Wildlife and Landscape Art Photography

"In a search to find a way to capture the beauty around me, I found photography."

“I started my photographic journey with a Kodak Brownie and although my camera has changed many times over the years, my passion for fine art is stronger than ever.

I currently use my trusted Nikon and Fuji gear to take photographs, and use Lightroom for editing.”

Lana was born in Lutzville, a small town near Cape Town, South Africa, and owned a successful accounting business in Cape Town before she could no longer ignore her dream and moved to Windhoek, Namibia to pursue a career in Wildlife and Landscape Art Photography.

She knows Southern and East Africa well, from the sky, and land, with her own eyes and through her camera lens. Lana is familiar with, and has visited Botswana, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, and Kenya. Namibia remains a top favourite for its remoteness and wonderful photographic opportunities.

She is not only comfortable with camera equipment, but also has a mild airplane obsession, holds a pilot license, and flies both light aircraft and Gyrocopters.

"After all the years, Africa still has my heart and my Kodak Brownie is still my most cherished possession.

I invite you to come with me to explore and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Africa as seen through my lens."
